A Hot and Productive Week in the Studio ☀️

What a hot week it’s been! I hope you’ve been managing to stay cool and enjoy some of the sunshine.

The heat has definitely made working in my studio a little more challenging. Soldering jewellery when it’s 33 degrees outside isn’t exactly ideal! I quickly realised that mornings were my best option, so I’ve been getting into the studio earlier and making the most of the cooler part of the day.

Despite the heat, it’s actually been a really productive week and I’ve managed to get lots of making done.

Lots of new handmade silver jewellery

I’ve been continuing with my bangle making this week and have added a few more designs to the collection. I’ve also made some new earrings and a brand new ring design, so there’s been plenty happening at my bench.

All of the new pieces are handmade by me from recycled Sterling Silver, with lots of different shapes, patterns and textures. I love seeing how a simple piece of silver can slowly turn into something completely different after cutting, shaping, soldering, hammering and stamping.

Everything I’ve made this week has now been photographed and listed on my website, so you can have a browse through all of the latest pieces.

As always, thank you so much for following along and supporting my small business. I really appreciate you being here and taking the time to read about what I’ve been making and what I’ve been up to.
