Silver Sunrise Surfite Ring shown being worn on hand.

Half Term, New Jewellery and a Little Christmas Planning!

It's been half term this week, and things haven't quite gone to plan in the workshop!

My son has decided that my office and workshop is the perfect place to revise for his upcoming GCSE mocks, so I've had a little visitor keeping me company all week! As lovely as it is having him around, it does make getting on with work a little tricky, especially when I'm trying not to distract him. So I've had to accept that this week wasn't going to be quite as productive as I'd hoped. Never mind, there's always next week!

I have managed to squeeze in a bit of making though, and I've got a few lovely new pieces to share.

First up are two new rings. One features a gorgeous deep red garnet set on a recycled sterling silver band that I've textured by hand to give it a bark like finish. The other is a colourful Surfite ring with a hand stamped sunrise design on the silver band. I love how different these two rings are!

I've also finished two new gemstone beaded necklaces. One is made with soft pink rose quartz beads and a handmade silver floral heart charm, while the other features lovely green aventurine beads with a silver leaf patterned disc. I'm really enjoying working with gemstone beads at the moment and combining them with my handmade silver designs.

I've also started thinking about Christmas! Next week I'm hoping to get back into the workshop properly and start making some new festive themed pieces. I've got a few ideas floating around in my head, so I'm looking forward to having a play and seeing what I come up with.

I can't quite believe we're heading into November already. This year really does seem to be flying by!

Anyway, that's a little update from my workshop this week. Hopefully I'll have a few more new pieces to share soon, assuming I manage to get my workspace back!

In the meantime, all my latest jewellery is available to browse on my website.

Thanks so much for following along and supporting my little business.
