Full Description:
This lovely Surfite Necklace has been handmade in Bristol, UK using traditional silversmithing techniques.
Surfite is made from resin run offs created when glazing surfboards. Over time layers of resin build up creating a slab of multiple colours, in the past these run offs would have been broken up and sent to land fill. Instead, by cutting them into shapes which can be made in jewellery this process reduces the amount that is sent to landfill by up to 90%.
As with all Jewellery by Jo Jewellery, this Surfite Necklace is made from recycled sterling silver, they are nickel free and hypoallergenic.
Packaging:
Your Surfite necklace will be delivered wrapped in tissue paper and placed in either a branded Jewellery by Jo Gift Box or Gift Bag which means gifting should be easy. I can even pop a gift card in for you, for no extra charge, just send me a note once you have placed your order.
